LIPID MAPS® Lipidomic Ion Mobility Database (Ion Mobility)

The LIPID MAPS® Lipidomic Ion Mobility Database was originally developed in collaboration with the McLean Research Group at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN, USA), whose Unified Compendium contains more than 3,800 experimentally determined collision cross section (CCS) values acquired from traceable molecular standards using drift tube mass spectrometry.

The database was initially established by mapping 835 lipid CCS measurements to the LIPID MAPS® classification system, representing 7 of the 8 major lipid categories. It has since been expanded with additional datasets.

The Lipidomic Ion Mobility database can be searched by lipid name and filtered by LIPID MAPS® lipid category.
